I gather GMTV has run a week of programmes highlighting the serious issue of female to male domestic violence. At least, on tiny portion of the UK media has the guts to discuss this matter and, I gather, treating it maturely and not dismissive as opposed to the contempt in which it usually is. I am surprised with Ms Smith still working there. Maybe the wonderful Lorraine hand bagged her! I guess the decades of the dolly wanting rantings has not permitted such debate. Well listen you hairy lot, every dog has its day. Maybe you vile man hating creatures should never have been afforded the platform to lie that you have. Now its time for mature grown up adult discussion. The spotlight has gone out.
I was sat at work flicking through the Metro with my pal at work, when she suddenly kicked off about the mis-representation of men in the media. This was an article about domestic violence and she was annoyed that the depiction was always male to female violence. She is of course absolutely right, quoting the GMTV programmes report on the 40/60 ratio. But what impressed me more than anything, was the 100% conviction in which she expressed her disgust at this. It doesn't surprise me though, for the vast majority of PEOPLE are decent law abiding none violent warm kind creatures. It's only the small minority that give others a bad name, and the hairy dolly wanting creatures are given a platform to spout their bile man hatred.
