It was pretty unbearable but to be honest I wanted to prove myself wrong about what to expect. Sadly wasn't meant to be. The saddest part (besides exploitation) was that it is so desperate for overseas sales that it was filmed to look American so it wouldn't look out of place. As everybody knows, the Bristol accent was really meant to be the southern states accent. But who cares.
The usual cliche ridden stories, pathetic boys up against knowledgeable controlled girls. The young brother spying on his sister in the shower (really) and the sister kicks the shit out of him. The over confident idiotic lad eager to expose his genitals in the gym scene. Utter shite and utterly surreal. Apart from all this, the most painful scene ever seen on TV was the appallingly acted gym sequence with some well known faces proving that the acting isn't the talent but the writing. Are you listening Bryan Elsey? Is the son who 'inspired' you really yours?
