Here we see the huge double standard when it comes to the portrayal of dom violence on TV. I complained to the BBC about this episode. They responded with their usual dire trible of Shirley being fiesty and wishing to explore issues. Shirley should have been twatted back by minty. Why would the BBC not explore that?
