So I'm chatting to a girl mate at work the other day and I was telling her the reason why the fashion world likes to have its skinny waifs and how heterosexual men are somehow to blame for this. She agreed with me including the widely known fact that designers are invariably gay.(Tom Ford? REALLY?) and that the use of waif like skinny models is because the clothes are sent around the world for previews and its a cost saving exercise.
Anyway, Lou made a real good point I had not thought of. The designers are trying to make the girls look like boys! Why did I not think of that. It's plain to see and makes so much sense. After all, they are usually sad middle aged or older gay men cracking one off over their little rent boys that they attach themselves to, safe in the knowledge that heterosexual men will be blamed for this abuse as is always the case.
Their world is sickeningly sad and filled with arse licking pretentious sycophants who will do anything to raise their profiles. Street hustlers these boys ain't, but getting paid to be a sexual fantasy for gay designers is getting paid for your appearance and for taking your kit off. One and the same thing to me. And as Mr Lagerfield said, he only has the highest class male escorts.
