Laura Bates on being a misandryst

Ah the irony of the advertising
The article

First of all I apologise as I have not captured the whole of the article written by Bates.

OK. so here goes. Laura Bates I agree with you wholeheartedly! There, jumped ship? Of course not, As a masculist my duty is also to acknowledge ALL matters associated with sexism and objectification. And to assume that this doesn't affect women is ridiculous.  However as  masculist I am sickened to my stomach that a woman does not exist ( that I am aware of) that would ever acknowledge the sexist objectification of men.

The behaviour Bates alludes to is clearly something that young people do. Has she heard of hazing? As she heard about what the women get up to?

She talks of the young rugby players reaction to the female not partaking in the activities without once alluding to the females presence in the first place. Nor does Bates know anything about  what male bonding and tribalism amounts to and the pressures associated with it. Bates will probably laugh at the poor man caught naked, or stripped and tied to a lamp post at a stag do or any other occasion warranting male tribalism . Bates will probably consider a male stripper a bit of harmless fun unlike its female equivalent. Bates presumably finds it highly amusing when men are ridiculed and objectified on much of what passes for British TV. Indeed, The very tribalism I refer to is evident on C4, a young man having his penis measured on national TV. Bates probably smiled at this harmless exploitation yet would argue against anything like this being done to a female. Indeed, Bates is probably the kind of person suggesting it should have been fully erect, which, if you are one of the myriad of men asking Dr Christian how to measure your penis, is how boys have done it since time began. Of course Bates can sleep at night because nobody is going to want to check a vagina is pretty, tight, big enough so she can keep her finger of the Ofcom button.

Sickeningly, Bates is furthering the divisive  misandry that she disseminates by alluding to female only sexism on her twatter account.  Whilst Bates looks pretty human to me, I reckon she clearly has been living on Venus most of her life. Why is it that misandry renders the victims as blind to the realities of life. Why would a person applaud a male stripper ( and the rest!!!) and demonise those watching a female stripper. Why do we chuckle when a male is running around naked in soaps and never challenge that the same does not apply to women. Why do women fail to see that sexism affects men greatly. Not just full frontal male nudity to sell an aftershave a la Homosexist Tom Ford, or the man running round his apartment selling another male product, to the unbelievably sexist women in the work place.

For me alone, I have worked for an organisation where women have been fired for downloading and printing off pictures of beastiality and where a group of 5 women were fired for stripping a young lad naked and simulating sex over his frightened body. Of course none of these things matter as the man (laughs) well he's up for it so its harmless fun. He probably asked for it. My god they are women they have all seen it before and he was probably asking for it. My god they were probably victims of something or other. In other words, there is always justification when a woman does wrong.

Indeed so desensitised are we to seeing men in the all together in a comedic way, that ITV will show a promo for a TV programme at 5pm where a man runs naked down the street or indeed the visa ad where the naked victim of a male tribalistic ritual is seen running re-gathering himself. But the said same company will give out two yes two warnings on a TV show after 10pm because a female arse is shown.

As I alluded to my agreeing with her I can guarantee she doesn't have what it takes to acknowledge sexism beyond her own vagina. Yes go to a strip club but don't be offended by the stripper. If the strip club isn't your thing don't go. As the years move on, that notion escapes me and I want to change the world as much as Bates, but I would suggest that even more annoyingly than it must be for Bates ever being able to change the way men behave, is the fact that she is equally unlikely to change the way women behave.

That's where I rest my case otherwise I could go on and on. But rest assured Ms Bates, your overuse of the cliched misogynist is a veil for your blatant misandry and preference to  support the female cause safe in the knowledge the veil will not slip as right now, your platform is a one woman show.
