Ben Freeman had a successful career appearing in English TV soap Emmerdale. Whilst holidaying abroad a lolita accused him of rape. His career collapsed and he had to live for 2 years with the stigma of being a rapist until he was proven innocent. Meanwhile, the slag who accussed him of this gets off scott free and without a single bit of press coverage. She should be named and shamed. For me, the worst violation a man or woman can experience is rape. The next must be the accusation. For a man, he has to be proven innocent not proven guilty.
Best wishes to Ben Freeman. Deepest sympathy for the slag and her family whose anonymity does not provide a veil for the deep shame that she should feel. For her act was as violating as what she professed. It's only time before the rules will change. Then women may think twice.
