Caster Semenya is the South African runner with questionable gender. Clearly from the pics above, one could be forgiven for thinking the picture had been edited in some way. There is no doubt her genitals are female; i.e inside her and yet her facial structure and lack of breasts and the 6 pack would indicate either a man, a heavy presence of the male hormone or something else. Recently, the 'something else' is in the news. The potential for her to be a hermaphrodite and even citation that she IS indeed a hermaphrodite is in all the news at this time.
What strikes me most about this case, is just how it is being treated so sensitively because she has a vagina. Oh I dunno, I kinda reckon that if this was a bloke, he would be ushered into a room and required to get his genitals out in front of a group of suited men AND women ffs and all would take a look, tick a box on an official sheet and that would be the end of the matter. Now wouldn't equality be great?
