I happened upon this story on the net. Its about a woman who is clearly having some kind of breakdown, bless her. However, what intrigued me about this was the fact her body has been pixelised. I refer to many a previous entries where I show example of double standards. Can anybody why women are treated differently with such matters. TV broadcasters (yes I know they are gay) will happily show a man's arse at any time. Indeed, the only thing they won't show is his penis (except channel 4 who will happily show a quick flash at 17:58!!!!!)
What would happen if the pixels were removed. Would planes fall from the sky? Would the queen abdicate? What? I fail to see I really do. What is this sensitivity that women won't speak of that requires such absurd censorship? I actually see the point here far more than other situations. Indeed I use this as an example of the plain double standard and acknowledge that she was clearly treoubled. Yet in the UK, a man who was objectified on channel 4 including his uncensored genitals being broadcast in a programme, lost his case against them. (Channel 4 in the UK is the nations Penis channel!)
